Update: Because I am a hardcore
midnight snacker blogger, I decided to recreate my brunch sandwich but with one change: instead of peanut butter, I used almond butter. I just happened to see it randomly at my local grocery store (while looking for something else entirely) and took it to be divine intervention that I SHOULD get it… and proceed to eat it within 30 minutes of getting home.
Anywhoo, here’s a pic of my supa-awesome “sandwich”:
I lightly toasted my Oroweat Sandwich Thins, smeared some of that delicious creamy almond butter, and sliced up half a banana.
So good I think I’m going to make another!
I dub this week: eat-random-foods-at-home-until-we-leave week. So when I woke up today, I knew I’d have to be creative with my “brunch.”
Thank goodness we had these things:
- Oroweat Sandwich Thins
- Jif All-Natural Peanut Butter
So I made myself two open-faced PBB (peanut butter + banana) sandwiches. De-freakin-licious. Unfortunately no pictures as I devoured it before I could take pics of it…. for the blog’s sake, I may remake it today. I take one for the team, friends! 🙂
Anywhoo, gotta run some errands, finish my cross-stitch, and pack for my trip to see the top 15 reasons why I would high-tail it to the East Coast post-grad!
